Martin Orthopedic and wellness is Hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant Near Greenbelt, MD

We are a busy Orthopedic Surgeon practice looking for a Clinically Certified Medical Assistant (CRMA) for our Greenbelt office - travelling to our satellite offices located in Temple Hills and White Plains once weekly. Favorable applicants will possess current certification, have at least one year of clinical experience in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine (preference; not a requirement - willing to train).
Ideal candidates will also possess excellent communication, organization, critical thinking, and time management skills. They will also be computer savvy and self-starters.
This is a fast-paced position working very closely with our physicians and staff. The candidate must be comfortable with a high-intensity work environment.
Essential duties include:
  • Rooming patients and inputting clinical data including new patient intakes and extensive history collection.
  • Proper cleaning of surfaces in both patient exam rooms, procedure rooms, and waiting area.
  • Utilizing an electronic medical record (EMR) program to store, update and retrieve patient information. 
  • Preparing injections and exam rooms for minor procedures
  • Applying and fitting durable medical equipment (DME) such as walking boots, splints, crutches and other braces, and applying casts
  • Managing clinical inventory and stocking exam rooms
  • This is a full-time position with travel to our Temple Hills and White Plains office once a week.
